This is an older Made in U.S.A. Athearn Blue Box-era powered locomotive, highly recognizable to longtime HO model railroaders for its durable construction and straightforward flywheel-drive mechanism.
The locomotive features the large Canadian Pacific lettering and Beaver emblem on the long hood, CP lettering on the nose, road number 3069 and contrasting white sill stripe.
