Add a classic Southern Railway freight car to your HO scale collection with this Bachmann 40-foot gondola from the Silver Series line.
Finished in gray with bold red SOUTHERN lettering and the distinctive Southern Railway emblem, this open-top freight car is an excellent addition to freight trains, industrial switching operations, and railroad yard scenes.
Gondolas were commonly used to transport materials such as scrap metal, steel products, machinery, and other freight that did not require an enclosed car.
